How to Grow Strawberries in Your Garden

I love to eat strawberries. I grow them in my garden. There is no comparison in taste between one you brought from shop, and one from your garden. You can grow these plants in hanging pots, and containers as well as in soil. Different types of the strawberries are available. Choose the most appropriate one, according to the soil.

June bearing strawberry is a single crop plant, and can bear strawberries in about two to three weeks in spring. It is feasible to enjoy the taste of these strawberries in any season. Everbearing strawberries produce crop for two to three times in a growing season, and day neutral strawberry produces through out the full season like from spring, summer, and a fall. Day neutral strawberry is available in small.

Grow strawberry plant in a sandy type soil with full of organic matter, and ph level should be from 5.8 to 6.2. It is better to plant them in spring. Gardener should take little care while growing the strawberries. Timely watering is very important for growing healthy strawberry crop.
