What is eMail Spam?

Email spam commonly known as junk e-mail, is a part of spam that involves nearly similar messages sent to numerous recipients by e-mail. It is commonly known as Unsolicited Bulk Email (UBE). Spam definitions usually include the aspects that email is unsolicited and sent in bulk. UCE refers to Unsolicited Commercial Email.

It has exponentially grown from the early 1990s to nearly about 100 billion messages a day. It has caused quite a lot of annoyance, confusion, and frustration among many email users. The total number of spam has leveled off recently with the growth not being exponential. Better filtering techniques have caused a lot of reduction for spam received. Botnets, which are a network of compromised computers, are used to send about 80% of the spam in the world. The cost of the spam is mostly born by the recipient.

Email addresses are collected from chat rooms, newsgroups, websites, and viruses, which harvest user's address books, and are sold to other spammers. Much of the spam is directed to invalid e-mail addresses. ISPs, which have won legal battles over the spammers, haven’t been able to recover the damages caused to them though. Spam averages 94% of all email sent in the world today.

Make Your Home Allergy Proof

Various allergies are triggered by mold, dust and pet dander. Therefore, it is very much important for us to keep our home clean and tidy.

You can easily remove the allergens from your home by practicing some simple steps. It takes some time and effort to remove allergens. You have to stick to a goal, develop routines and cleaning strategies to overcome the allergens.

While cleaning your house,
  • Wear high quality dust mask.
  • Wear junky clothes and wash them immediately after use in hot water.
  • Always wear plastic gloves.
  • Use a wet cloth to avoid the dust to spread in the air.
  • Use High Efficiency Particulate Arrestance (HEPA) filtered vacuum cleaner.

  • Never use feather duster; it stirs up the dust in the air.
  • If you have floor carpets, vacuum them regularly, in fact daily.
  • Make sure that there is no moisture in your home. This causes the mold to grow.

Will Proton Be Successful In Competing Sedan?

It is probably known fact that Proton has entered into electric car market after seeing the tremendous response for the Tesla’a Sedan. But will be it a potential competitor for the Sedan? And will releasing the car much before Tesla - will help it lead the market? Or teaming up with a Malaysian-based Detroit Electric will help it enhance its pressure over Tesla?

All these questions aroused in my mind when Proton announced its release of an all-electric family car into the market. Proton has got into the market after a good amount of survey and research on the electric car market in the US. It says US electric car market is expected to be as big as 120,000 cars a year. It says the demand is similar with the Europe market too. It has analyzed to capture an initial market of 40,000 cars.

With this confidence, it projects to sell around 270,000 electric cars by 2013 in countries all around the world.

The price of the cars seems to be more tempting than that of Tesla’s. Proton cars were announced to range between US$23,000 to US$26,000 for the city range model and US$28,000 to US$33,000 for the extended range model. Tesla’s Model-S Sedan is priced at $57,400 ($49,900 after tax credits).

Using Natural Cures for Everyday Health Issues

We usually call the natural cures for everyday health issues as Grandma’s remedies. These remedies cure our problems without using medications.
  • To stop baby’s hiccups: Add little bit of sugar on your finger will stop hiccups because he starts sucking sugar. If it is for elders, just scare them.
  • If you suffer from cold, take hot water and intake the vapor by closing yourself under-a-blanket. Just take a hot water shower.
  • Headache: Most common problem suffered by most of us. Just take a brisk walk, this helps in increasing blood circulation and relaxes you. Take a hot bath, this relaxes your muscles.
  • Headache due to dehydration: Just take at least six to eight glasses of water a day. Sit in dark room and avoid bright lights, this helps in reducing the stress in your body. Press your fleshy area between thumb and forefinger, will also help you in overcoming the headache.

Sneeze with Your Eyes Open

One of the most impractical things is sneezing with your eyes open wide. Sneeze is very common reflection of a human body to allergy or some unwanted stimulation inside your nose.

When you sneeze air particles from your mouth and nose come out at a rate of around 100 miles per hour. When something unwanted enters your nose, it stimulates and irritates the nerve cells present in your nose. Immediately the irritating sense is sense is sent to brain which activates tracheal and pharyngeal muscles. They create a large opening in the nasal cavity and release air with a powerful acceleration. Thus resulting in a sneeze.

There are certain people called photic sneezers who sneeze as soon as they get exposed to bright light.

Many hate to sneeze when they are in crowd because it is considered as bad human morale. The fact is that sneeze has possibilities to transfer microbes from one person to another.

When you have a sneezing sensation in crowd, try tickling the upper part of your mouth with tip of your tongue, to stop it.
