Footed Pajamas for Different Ages

Pajamas are the most popular night wear all over the world. The comfort which it offers during the night times, made it so popular. In general, the pajamas look like trousers which are loosely fitted and are available for all the ages. Unlike these, there is another variety of pajamas which are called as footed pajamas, especially used for kids, but are available for all ages.

Footed pajamas generally refer to one piece pajama which covers the entire body with a single fabric. They are quite common for infants in colder climates since they need extra protection during winters. They provide enough warmth to the entire body of the kid and helps in preventing the cold winds to reach the baby's body. Let us check footed pajamas for different ages.

For Infants: Footed pajamas for infants are usually made of flame resistant polyester. For colder seasons these are also made using terry cloth. In general, polyester pajamas are either zipped or snapped. In zipped pajamas, the zip will start from the middle of the neck and veers of to end at one leg. While the terry pajamas are often snapped.

For Older Children: For older children zippers or snaps are easy to access to change diapers easily. Some footed pajamas have a snapped back or a snapped front at the waist level, which allows bathroom use easy without removing the whole garment.

Children learning to walk: For children who are learning to walk and also for the adults who might fall in the dark, vinyl fabric pajamas are helpful. They cover the feet bottoms of the footed pajamas and prevents slipping.

These are the different styles in which the footed pajamas are available. Another important thing to remember is, when these footed pajamas are worn by the kids, they need very little extra covering with blankets, since the pajamas alone create an enough warmth for the baby.
