Meditation for Beginners

In this competing world, every person is working under stressful conditions. To lessen this burden or stress, many people are trying meditation. The beginners are facing many troubles while meditating. Meditation is a very old ancient practice. There are different types of meditations, but the ultimate goal is common.

So, for the persons who have decided to start meditation, they have to remember few points like
  • Firstly, one has to choose which method is suitable for them, based on the interest. One has to make sure that they will not be disturbed during meditation. So, it is advised to sit in a peaceful place.
  • It is important to keep in mind that one should not expect instantaneous results while meditating.
Breathing Exercise
The Breathing exercise is a famous technique in meditation. In this method, you must take care of selecting place, environment, sitting in a comfortable position. Because these mainly influence the meditating person.

Word/ Mantra Exercise
In the word exercise, the meditator must take care of choosing the mantra or word and language while meditating, as the meditating person might experience difficulty if the mantra is long or in a unknown language. The meditator will find it difficult to repeat.

A Visualization Exercise
In this process a person the meditator must be careful about the distance between the object and the person and also the person should take care of surroundings as any attractive object can distract the concentration.
  • Ultimately, the goal of all these exercises is to increase the concentration during meditation.
Now-a-days, meditation has become a part of daily-lifestyle.
